Terms and Conditions

1. Agreement

By enquiring, booking or hiring a vehicle from Ute Hire ("we", "us", "our") you agree to these Terms and Conditions. These terms form the complete agreement between you and Ute Hire.

2. Eligibility

Drivers must hold a valid full driver's licence (or accepted overseas equivalent), be at least 21 years old, and provide proof of identity and address on request.

3. Use of Vehicle

The vehicle must be used only for lawful purposes and driven only by the approved named driver(s) listed on the hire agreement. Off-road use, use for racing or towing above the vehicle's rated capacity is prohibited.

4. Insurance & Liability

Comprehensive insurance is included in every rental subject to a standard damage liability payable by the hirer. Hirer accepts full responsibility for all fines, tolls, damage caused by negligence, misuse or breach of these terms.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ute Hire shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages arising out of or relating to the hire of a vehicle, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of business, loss of use, injury, or property damage. Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude any consumer guarantees that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

6. Cancellations

Cancellations made 48 hours prior to pickup receive a full refund. Later cancellations may attract a fee equivalent to one day's hire.

7. Fuel & Kilometres

Vehicles are supplied full of fuel and must be returned full. Kilometre allowances are specified on your hire agreement; excess km are billed at the rate shown on the agreement.

8. Damage & Loss

Hirer is responsible for reporting damage or loss immediately. All damage assessments follow independent industry standards.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the state or territory in which the vehicle was hired.
